At the beginning of the trip I collected ten gallons of water from Parker Creek. My intention was to carry the water with me along the route of the ancient waterway and then pour the water into the creekbed at Warm Springs. I wanted the water to complete the trip from the Sierra Nevada at Mono Lake to Death Valley, a trip that it couldn't have completed on its own since the last ice age.
