los angeles aqueduct

The Owens River and most of the streams that fed into Mono Lake and Owens Lake have been diverted to the Los Angeles aqueduct system. In geologic time this is a very recent occurrence but we had to investigate this "new waterway" since it was all a part of the ancient waterway we were tracking.
